Some Spider-Man fanart from 2012 I never posted. I HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY, REALLY.

Also, have I seen that Sandman with a baby sketch before? I feel I should know the context.

Gabriele Dell’Otto’s teasers for Amazing Spider-Man: Ends of the Earth.

Marvel should really take the trade dress off these and release them as a poster set.

fuckyeahultimates:

a beautiful motion-comic video of the Death of Spider-Man’s last few issues. this is definitely worth the watch.

Haha, I was literally just putting together a post about this. Seriously, even if you’re a motion comics skeptic like I am, take the time to watch this. Proof of the power of fandom — this is an amateur production and yet it blows every professional motion comic I’ve seen out of the water.

zmtn asked: I kinda want to ask you to do all the Spidey characters but that would be overwhelming so uh, pick a couple?

Since I actually owe you meta about this, SANDMAN:

1. His power sounds kind of ridiculous on paper — oooh, he can turn into sand, big deal — until you think about it and you realize that he can do any number of really terrifying things, like turn into what’s (practically speaking) a giant concrete mallet. Or a sandstorm. Or he can just trap you and hold you there. Ay yi yi.

2. Despite the horror movie powers, he’s got his own moral code and sense of integrity. His reformation was entirely convincing and I wish he’d stayed reformed, or at least become an anti-hero or something who could team up with Spidey, with however much tension was appropriate.

3. Okay this is just a more specific version of (2), but I am such a sucker for “bad” guys who are protective towards children asdhaksdfhaksjhdfajsdhfdsf

[image: yellow sketch of Magical Girl Sandman, with a scowl and his arms folded. He’s wearing a dress with a striped top that leads into the poofiest skirt, and a cute cropped jacket, with striped socks. There’s a bow at his neck and on the back of his dress.]

Skalja suggested Magical Girl Sandman, but I already kinda sorta had drawn it a few days ago… I just… never posted it… errr.
