Concept Art, drawn by Ted Bastien, of the never produced Nelvana’s animated version of Doctor Who.

Question marks are cool. Seriously, I want that coat now. Also, to think we could’ve had a non-white companion almost twenty years earlier…

Going by designs alone, I would gladly have watched this. Dig that K-9 and Cyberman especially — and oooh, is that a Time Lady who doesn’t look like a white human? (Okay, so she’s blue rather than… human-looking but not white, but still! Exciting!)

Spiderman Noir by Carmine Di Giandomenico

Spidey’s Noir costume is cool and all, but I really like this alternate concept. It looks more convincingly ragtag and Peter Parker-ish (which frankly Spider-Man Noir could’ve used more of, as much as I enjoyed it). It’s also a bit scarecrow-like, which interests me because it’s an association I’ve made before and one that’s also shown up in canon.

Stuart Immonen character design? OH MY HEART. Apparently a bunch of different comics artists have submitted sketches in their usual style for “inspiration and tonal flavor” for the animators, so it’ll be interesting to compare this with MJ’s final design for the show.

): this April Fools joke was actually mean and hurt me.

For some reason this makes me want to ship Bob/Peter? I don’t even know why.
