Final Fantasy VI.
The opening music, the character themes, the opera scene, this great variety of music makes this game’s soundtrack an obvious choice.
Oh, I’m not sure I’ve heard this take on the main theme/opening before — where’s it from?
This is version from FFVI Grand Finale, pretty sure, it’s available on iTunes.

Argh, can’t find it … on the plus side I did just discover a cover of Those Who Fight Further with accordions, so there’s that.
ETA: Also I already have this track. Well catalogued, self. OTOH the rest of the album seems to be missing…
